Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know for the big day.
- Do we need to bring a gift?
-
Please know that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. We are so lucky to have you in our lives and simply want you there to celebrate with us. However, if you would like to mark the occasion with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund would be sincerely appreciated as we look forward to starting our married life together with an unforgettable adventure.
- How do I get to the venue?
-
The ceremony and reception will both take place at Islington Town Hall.
By Tube: The nearest stations are Highbury & Islington and Angel, which are 8 and 12 minutes walk to the venue respectively.
By Taxi: We recommend Addison Lee, Uber, Bolt, Free Now and Gett.
- What is the dress code?
-
We would love to see our family and friends looking their best, so the dress code for the day is Smart. Think sharp suits and elegant dresses—we kindly ask for no denim or casual trainers. We can't wait to see you all dressed up!
- Any accommodation recommendations?
-
London has a variety of accommodation options to suit different preferences, here are a few suggestions:
- The Zetter Clerkenwell (0.4 miles away): A boutique hotel located 5-minute walk from Farringdon Station.
- Hotel Indigo (0.6 miles away): A stylish hotel offering modern amenities and comfortable accommodations.
- Local Charm: There are also several lovely Airbnbs and B&Bs in the area.
We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability and the best rates.
